EBMUD calls it a courtesy resource: contractors volunteered to be on it and self-certified the services they offer; EBMUD does not endorse them and the list is not exclusive. * **License status:** each contractor's license number was matched to the [CSLB License Master file](https://www.cslb.ca.gov/onlineservices/dataportal/ContractorList) (CSLB public data portal, data as of 2026-10-28, downloaded 2026-10-30): 41 active (CLEAR) and listed; 2 showed a suspension and are not listed. Where CSLB's business name differs from EBMUD's, the card shows both.
