How we make money
East Bay Sewer Inspection is free to use. Here is how it is, and will be, paid for, and the rules we hold ourselves to.
Today
- Nothing is for sale. Every listing is free and built from official public records.
- Quote requests are free for homeowners, and listed businesses don't pay for them today. Each request goes to up to 3 of the nearest contractors with a published email (or the one you picked plus the 2 nearest others).
- Listings are ordered by location and name. No one can pay to appear higher, to get a license badge, or to have a competitor removed.
Planned
- Featured placements, clearly labeled "Ad", shown alongside, never instead of, the full free list.
Our rules
- Paid or not, every listing must match a current official record.
- Guides and cost pages are written independently of advertisers and cite their sources.
- If we ever earn a referral fee from a link, the link will say so.
Professionals: see claim or correct your listing.
